- ❌ Criterion #1: End balance above 3,000,000 (Actual: 0)
- ❌ Criterion #2: Superannuation earnings above 0 (Actual: 0)
Portion of Earnings Taxable
Only a portion of your gains are taxed at 15%. The further you are over the threshold, the higher the percentage. Use the following formula to calculate the portion of your gains that are taxable:
(TSB at End of Year - Threshold) / TSB at End of Year * 100
Note: This calculation uses the pure TSB End of Year, it is not adjusted for withdrawals or contributions. It is also rounded to 2 decimal places. This means that as long as you end the year with a balance at or below the threshold your taxable portion will be 0%.
